Cliff and Andrea Greenberg (mahalo for the genuine Nikon chamois, hand-carried from Japan!) were lamenting not being able to take in the Banana Poka Festival (they leave Kauai Saturday). The Greenbergs were at the Kauai Culinary Market (Kyle LaBenz and Lourn R. Hess were offering Hawaiian music — Kyle is waiting for Sarah Manuel to dance hula for them — while standing in for John Rivera and friends).
Brolie has been at galerie 103 for six years now and was busy doing his kitty game and rolling upside down inside the gallery owned by Bruna Stude (keep watching for the June fashion statement, said Melissa McFerrin-Warrack, the Kukuiula assistant real estate manager).
Ada Koene has some sharp eyes, being able to spot the D7200 in the crowd, and Elvrine Chow was getting some looks from a customer who went to the Big Island to get ohia for a haku lei.
Congratulations to Helen Lacona (she’ll be at the Hawaiian Congregational Church event this weekend, too) on her granddaughter Kuuleinani Breen’s three special awards at the Kauai Community College graduation (the African Peanut soup hit the spot as well)!
