Elizabeth Ann Victorino
Elizabeth Ann Victorino of Kapahi, Kauai, Hawaii passed away at home on June 2, 2015, at the age of 73. She was born in Portland, Oregon on November 28, 1941, and retired from the State of Hawaii Department of Health as a Social Worker.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Damien Victorino Sr.
Elizabeth is survived by sons, Damien Victorino Jr. and Bill Victorino; daughter, Angela Victorino, all of Kapahi; grandchildren, Billy, Zane, Kynan, Dalton, Harlo, Tiana and Mikey; sister, Catherine Marie Caycayon of Kapaia; brother, John William (Barbara) Leighton of Oregon; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015, at St. Catherine Church in Kapahi with visitation from 9 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10:30 a.m.

Lucita Salud Kam
Lucita “Lucy” Salud Kam of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on May 25, 2015, at Queens Medical Center at the age of 58. She was born on January 10, 1957, in the Philippines. Lucita was Office Manager for Dr. Alfred Liu, MD.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Luciano and Juanita Salud, of Lihue, Kauai.
Lucita is survived by husband, Westley Kam of Honolulu; daughter, Marissa Kam of New York; brother, Romeo Salud of California and sister, Jo Ann Salud of Lihue; step-mother, Anita Salud of Lihue, Kauai; as well as numerous nieces and nephews
A celebration of Lucita’s life will take place at Hosoi Garden Mortuary, 30 N. Kukui Street, Honolulu, Hawaii on Saturday, June 20, 2015. Your may visit with the family at 11:30 a.m. with Service to follow at 12:30 p.m. The family suggests casual attire and respectfully asks no flowers.

Joseph Vierra
Joseph Vierra, passed away on June 8, 2015, in Pearl City, Oahu. He was born in Eleele, Kauai on Sept. 27, 1920, to Manuel and Elvira Vierra.
Joseph served in World War II in the US Army and Air Force, and was a Machinist at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard for 32 years. He was married to Elaine Malama Vierra from Niumalu, Kauai who preceded him in death in 1987.
Joseph is survived by his sons Jeffrey J. Vierra and Joseph R. Vierra, three grandchildren, six great- grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A celebration of Joseph’s life will take place June 23, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. at Borthwick Mortuary, 1330 Maunakea Street, Honolulu, Hawaii with burial at The National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl) at 1 p.m. For further information call Joseph at 808-721-8387.

Rodney Carlson
Rodney Duane Carlson of Koloa passed away at his home on June 13, 2015, at the age of 61. He was born in Colorado on Oct. 12, 1953, and retired as an assistant service manager with Chrysler.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Almira Carlson.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Darrene Sheer of Koloa; daughters, Dani Carlson and Alexa (Tyler) Jossi of Oregon; three grandchildren and brother, Ron (Kymery) Carlson of Washington.
A memorial will be held in the mainland.

Randal Yamamoto
Randal Haruto Yamamoto of Wailua passed away at home on June 5, 2015, at the age of 58. He was born in Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii on Oct. 1, 1956, and was employed by Hawaii Food Alliance as a Warehouse Manager.
Randal is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Yamamoto and his sister Crystal Pia.
He is survived by his wife, Aileen Okikawa Yamamoto; daughter, Carleen Yamamoto; sons, Troy and Derek Yamamoto; mother, Fujiko Yamamoto; four sisters, Debbie (Glen) Taba, Gail (Dwayne) Sandberg, Joy (Roy) Kamanu, Joan Yamamoto; two brothers, Glen (Rebecca) Yamamoto, Keith (Janice) Yamamoto; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints-Lihue Ward with visitation from 3 p.m. and services celebrated at 4 p.m.
Private inurnment to be held at a later date.

Hannah Takata Martin
Hannah M. Takata Martin, of Kapaa, Kauai passed away on June 9, 2015, at her home in Kapaa, Kauai at the age of 76. Hannah was born on Dec. 25, 1938, in Waimea Valley, Kauai. She retired from her position as Laundry Attendant for Kauai Coconut Beach Resort.
She is preceded in death by her parents Koki and Chiyoko Takata and her sister Katherine Noguchi.
Hannah is survived by daughter, Candice (Steve) Cummings; son, Reuben (Lori) Orial; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; as well as brother, Sam (Elsie) Takata and sister, Mary (Billy) Robinson.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday June 27, 2015, at Breath of Life Church in Lihue on Rice Street from 9 to 9:45 a.m. where memorial services will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
