Registration for a Eleele sports camp offering basketball, flag football, soccer and cheerleading is being accepted.
Kristi Akamine, a leader for the sports camp hosted in Kalaheo, said the camp is being offered because Justin Halog, one of the camp team leaders, and Kiana Pigao, a cheerleading leader, both have roots in Eleele. The camp is a good way for them to give back to the community.
The sports camp will run from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. July 6-10 at Eleele Park, located off the main highway. Registration is $35 per camper. Scholarships are available.
