The fourth Happiness Planting Japanese Cultural Festival is scheduled 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Happiness Planting Center.
It will include culture and food demonstrations, music, entertainment, silent auctions, games for kids and adults, local vendors and information booths and films. There will also be an animation film, a documentary, artwork illustrating children who were victims of the atomic bomb in World War II, and a peace exhibition by the Hiroshima Peace Museum.
It is free.
The festival seeks to serve the growth of love, enlightenment and spiritual education.
“Planting happiness means to plant water and nurture your seed of love within the community,” according to organizers.
