The championship game between Kawaihau and Washington was postponed when thunder and lightning plagued the area in Nogales, Arizona.

The winner of the championship game of the West Regional Tournament will advance directly to the Little League Intermediate 50/70s World Series in Livermore, California, Aug. 2-8 and will feature teams from the Central, East, Southeast, Southwest, and West divisions of the United States as well as teams from the Asia-Pacific, Canada, Europe-Africa, and Latin America.
