Larry Feinstein (his Mainland motorcycle tour is coming up soon) was excited about who would be the first people through the door when The Kauai Beer Company started lunch service Wednesday.
He thought maybe Ron Wiley would come through the door since he was talking up the new service. Jim Geuber (he’s still a part of the FIRST robotics team, too) said lunch service starts from 11 a.m. on Wednesdays through Saturdays and goes right into “the place between work and home” which starts from 3 p.m.
The team of Joe (Fox) and Joe (Stanley) got creative, creating a house Cajun potato chip, which is even better than some of the kettle varieties out there, and even a special lunch dessert. Is that available as a stand-alone side?
Jim said everything started from him just wanting a place to make beer. Now, they’re working on creating a space for the Rotary Club of Kauai (Koloa Mill Run and Lights on Rice parade coming up). Larry said it’s just a matter of finding the best use for the space they’ve got.
