POIPU — Melissa McFerrin-Warrack, the assistant real estate manager at The Shops at Kukuiula, was surprised and excited to see SoHa Living open to the public during the Art Walk event last Saturday.
SoHa Living has been under construction and opened its doors last week, joining a growing number of retailers at the Poipu shopping, dining and fine art destination.
“We are so very excited to be a part of this growing center,” said SoHa Living owner Brooke Watson. “Our goal is to have SoHa Living be a place where customers feel happy, relaxed, and enjoy spending time discovering new and unique things that preserve lasting memories.”
This includes a wide offering of items which are locally made, said Haley Bergere, the manager of the Poipu store.
“SoHa Living is a locally owned business based on Oahu,” Bergere said.
“The opening of the store in Poipu is the third retail outlet, joining the flagship store in the Kahala Mall and Kailua, both on Oahu. Future plans indicate another store being planned for Waikoloa on the Big Island.”
SoHa is short for South of Hawaii, and SoHa Living embodies a lifestyle of leisure, vacation, discovery, coastal chic and tropical luxury, Bergere explained.
“It is with great excitement that we welcome this family-friendly and fashion-forward merchant into our ohana,” said Helaine Perel, the real estate manager at The Shops at Kukuiula.
