With just 31 ticks showing in the first half, Napoleon found Gabe Keener on a 36-yard touchdown pass to the left side. Clifton Oliver kicked point-after to push Kapaa to a 7-0 lead at the break.
The Golden Hawks got on the scoreboard in the third quarter when a muffed snap saw the Warriors boot out of the end zone for the safety which gave Nanakuli its two points.
Kapaa widened the 7-2 margin with two touchdowns in the final quarter, the first coming when Mosese Fifita returned a fumble recovery 26 yards for the score with 7:16 showing in the game, Oliver doing the PAT boot.
Napoleon tapped paydirt on a one-yard charge in the final 1:28 to give Kapaa its final score.
The first-year Warrior quarterback finished the outing completing five passes on 13 attempts for 75 yards, including the 36-yard scoring aerial to Keener, according to statistics from Scoring Live.com.
On the ground, Justin DeForge led the Warrior rushing with 12 carries for 75 yards. Napoleon helped the cause with 16 carries for 38 yards.
Fifita topped the Warrior defense with a game-high 11 tackles followed by Mana Kupihea, who added nine tackles.
With the win, Kapaa prepares to host Lahainaluna Saturday at the Mayor Baptiste Memorial Sports Park in Kapaa. The junior varsity match kicks off at 5 p.m. followed by the varsity kicking off at 7 p.m.

The Menehune will be flying to the Big Island to meet up with the Waiakea Warriors Saturday at the Waiakea/Wong Stadium starting either at 1, or 2 p.m.
