Betty Carroll is quite an accomplished person, having created an Easter egg of painted Japanese children for Nancy Reagan’s egg rolling event.
She said May Kawakami shoots pool to stay limber, and had no qualms about interrupting Aunty May’s game to talk story at the Regency at Puakea.
Sharon Lasker (she was at the county’s second Small Business Fair, too) said everyone is invited to view the Regency residents’ art accomplishment starting at 11 a.m. Tuesday during the Kupuna Arts Showcase which coincides with National Assisted Living Week. The Regency at Puakea is an assisted living and retirement facility, and when did Pam Arroyo rise to the general manager’s spot?
Mark Bonilla (he’s been working really hard) was getting excited Friday night because Jack in the Box celebrated its grand opening at 1 p.m. Saturday, and don’t forget, Safeway opens Friday morning (does that mean the Kukui Grove Starbucks won’t be as busy?).
