Katsumi Hashimura of Eleele passed away at Garden Isle Healthcare on September 10, 2015 at the age of 93. He was born on April 12, 1922 in Kukuiula and was a warehouse clerk with the McBryde Sugar Company.
He is survived by his wife, Nobuko Hashimura; son, Eric (Gwen) Hashimura of Lihue; daughter, Gail (Jeffrey) Emoto of Hanapepe; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; parents, Eimatsu and Hideyo Hashimura; brothers, Takashi Hashimura of Eleele and Hiroki (Yuki) Hashimura of O’ahu; sisters, Nancy (Wally) Nakamoto of Illinois and Helen Fujimoto of Washington; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Doris Hironaka.
Private services were held.
