Tired of rising car registration fees
Picked up my mail today and guess what, car registration has again risen, now up to $183. What, next year over $200? We need a mayor and council that know how to really budget, cut spending and get their stuff together. These folks, mayor and council members, don’t seem to care about the working folks. Need money, raise fees and taxes, no-brainer for them.
When election time rolls around, I urge all people of Kauai to really look at the new, fresh voices out there that care about the people of Kauai and want to help get this burden of the people being sucked dry because our elected folks are too lazy, dumb, can’t figure out how to budget or don’t care what they are doing, need more money, stick it to the people and suck them dry like a bone or shrimp head and move on to think “What can we raise the tax on the people next?”
Is no one else tired of this scam and shell game our politicos play, or are we sheep/cattle happily being led to the slaughterhouse? Come on folks, forget about business as usual and voting in the same old, same old. Are you in a better place than a year ago? Stand up for your rights and families for a better way of life and a better Kauai. Together we can make a difference to better ourselves and way of life.

Organic solutions are needed
My heart goes out to the Sygenta workers who have been poisoned by exposure to the pesticide chlorpyrifos.
But my heart does not go out to the agribusiness industry itself. So many people in the world are concerned for themselves and their children and for the planet itself due to the build up and excessive use of toxic pesticides that adversely affect our food supply, our drinking water, our health, and upset the delicate web of life. This emergency should prove as a wake up call.
Paul Stamets, world renowned mycologist has fungus/mushroom solutions for the pesticide problem, as well as environmental remediation and health, which he has talked about at various Ted Talks. Nature’s organic, non-toxic solution is a better alternative to the poisons that are currently used.
The future of our planet and the health of our children depend on moving away from poisons and toward organic solutions that are based on mother nature’s wisdom.
In case the workers are still in need of help, I gently ask that they consider using mung bean, licorice broth which has been used for detoxification in cases of pesticide poisoning for a very long time. It is safe, completely non-toxic and has stood the test of time. I am a licensed practitioner of Oriental Medicine and I am deeply interested in seeing our world revert to natural cures.
