She said the Baha‘i New Year is kind of like Malasada Tuesday because Ayyam-I-Ha ends on March 1, and on March 2, the Baha‘i New Year starts 19 days of fasting during the daytime. Cindy Lin said she’s not a celebrity, even if Greg Askew had to give away her picture which was posted on the Ono Pops cooler. Her dad, Tiansheng Lin, was walking around with a laminated picture of Cindy savoring the Ono Pops.

Johnny Gordines said it’s not too early to remind people that the Garden Fair is coming April 16 to the Kauai Community College (Melissa has application forms for people interested in being part of the big event) from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. He or Terry will be there taking orders for Mother’s Day tropical shipments.
