LIHUE — The Kauai Recycles drop bins in the parking lot behind Kmart in Lihue will not be accessible on from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday due to a large event in the area.
During the Arts in Motion Spring Car Show, the entrances to the Kmart parking lot will be blocked off.
Area residents can take their recyclables to the Kauai Resource Center on Ahukini Road near the Lihue Airport. The KRC is open every day except on Wednesdays and Sundays. The hours of operation are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. with a lunch break from 11 to 11:45 a.m.
