Loisann Kehaulani Kaiwi
Loisann Kehaulani Kaiwi of Anahola, Kauai, Hawaii, formerly Kaneohe, Oahu, passed away at the age of 67.
She was born on Jan. 23, 1949 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Annie Tilton; husband, Mikela Kaiwi; brothers, Leeanda, Louis, Leonard and Frederick Tilton; sister, Lucille Kaluna.
She is survived by sons, Michael “Mike” Kaiwi, Seattle, Washington, Jefferey “Manu” (Stacey) Kaiwi, Kaneohe, Oahu; daughters, Kehaulani (Ellsworth) Kaiwi, Hanamaulu, Kauai, Mapuana (Willard) Pa, Anahola, Kauai, Sachiko (Preston) Kaiwi, Anahola, Kauai; hanai daughters, Sandy Shintani and Kendra Woodbridge, brothers, Thomas (Annette) Tilton, Kaneohe, Oahu, Leslie (Yolanda) Tilton, Kaneohe, Oahu, Leighton (Marjorie) Tilton, Kaneohe, Oahu; sister, Lavern Smith, Kaneohe, Oahu; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, numerous aunties and uncles, nieces, nephews, friends.

Irvin Cabreros Cadiz
Irvin Cabreros Cadiz of Kapaa passed away on Feb. 27, 2016, at the age of 30. He was born in Carranglan, Nueva Ecija, Philippines on July 14, 1985, and worked at Plantation Hale as a houseman and a utility worker at St. Regis Hotel.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aquilino and Brigida Cadiz.
Irvin is survived by one son, Irvin Cadiz Jr.; one daughter, Chaira Cadiz; father, Irineo Cadiz of Honolulu; mother, Ligaya Cabreros of Hanamaulu; three brothers, Jonathan (Mia) Cadiz, Michael Cadiz, Arvin Lomboy; two sisters, Jennifer (Roland) Cuellar, Sherrie Lomboy; companion, Charlotte Domingo; numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, one niece and one nephew.
A celebration of Irvin’s life will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Lihue Cemetery.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Cadiz family with arrangements.
Hilda M. Apaka
Hilda M. Apaka of Lihue, Hawaii, passed away at Hale Kupuna on April 5, 2016, at the age of 88. Born on Dec. 31, 1927, in Lihue, Hawaii, she was a retired telephone operator.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Herbert K. Apaka Jr., and Richmond Apaka; and parents, Herbert K. Sr., and Leila Apaka.
Hilda is survived by her brother, Kenneth Apaka of Hilo; sister-in-law, Kimie Apaka; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Kaiola Canoe Club at Niumalu Park on Saturday, April 30, 2016. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. Interment will be followed at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
The family requests casual attire and flowers are being omitted.
