Ann Foos (she used to be a Suzuki from Nakamura Market in Kapaa) had a bunch of teachers (and a principal, Bobbie Dykens), including Kris McCulley who was a first-time visitor to Kauai, on a shopping tour Saturday (Fred Baum of Peleke Design had a special on his clock puzzles made of Kauai wood, and the free eWaste program will continue in June).
Kris was checking out the noni lotion for her sore knee which was gone by the time she hit the Kauai Community Market where Chef Brandon Reed of that new pizza wagon had time to breathe.
Liz Hahn is getting ready to pack more fish for an IBC show in Florida which takes place this coming weekend (oops, that’s the same day Sarah Manuel will have her Fun 5K Walk, Run and Bike for the Children’s Miracle Network at the Kapaa Beach Park), and John and Daphne McClure of Moloaa Bay Coffee were all alone (even if Sandi Kato-Klutke dropped in for a visit after the Visitor Industry Charity Walk). But it was alright since Kyoko Ikeda stopped by. Too bad she never got to sample that fancy chocolate drink (Liz knows the full name … in rice milk?). That was ono!
