Manuel ‘Manny’ Rapozo
Manuel “Manny” Rapozo of Kekaha, Hawaii passed away at the age of 72 on June 12, 2016 in Waimea, Kauai. He was born on Dec. 21, 1943 in Waimea and was a Communication Tech with PMRF and Manny’s Florist, Waimea, Kauai, Hawaii.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Augusta “Gussie” Rapozo; brother, John Rapozo; and brother-in-law, Jerry Ibesen.
Manny is survived by his wife, Chermain Rapozo; son, Troy (Deblyn) Rapozo of Hanapepe; daughters, Tracylyn (Richard) Bryan of Kapa’a, and Stacylyn (Keoni) Rapozo-Smith of Mililani, Oahu; grandchildren, Cullen Gante-Rapozo, Christopher “Kawai” Rapozo, Shlecie Rapozo-Dela Cruz, LeeAnna Rapozo, Justin “Maka” Rapozo, Tavia Rapozo, Jasyah Rapozo, and Keani Smith; great-granddaughter, Braylee Ho’okano; brother, George “Keoki” (Marlene) Rapozo of Washington State; sisters, Louise Ibesen of Kapa’a, and Angeline (Jerome Hew) Suzuki of Kapa’a; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Manny’s Life will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at St. Theresa’s Church in Kekaha. Visitation will be at 8:30 a.m. with Mass to begin at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Hanapepe.
Causal attire is requested and flowers are being declined.
