Darby has downgraded to a tropical depression and was moving west near 12 mph and is expected to continue on this path over the next two days, according to a report.
As of 5 a.m., Darby was 85 miles west-northwest of Lihue and 45 miles north-northwest of Niihau.
According to a Kauai County report, there were no road closures or damages reported overnight related to Darby.
The Kalalau Trail and the Kapaa green waste service remains closed until further notice but there are no other service disruptions to report.
