Two experts on strengthening homes for hurricanes will conduct a free clinic for homeowners from 4:30 to 7 Wednesday at the Hanapepe Public Library meeting room.
Participants are welcome to bring photos of their homes for advice from Dennis Hwang, co-author of the “Homeowner’s Handbook to Prepare for Natural Disasters,” and Time Waite, Simpson Strong-Tie Co. senior territory manager for Hawaii and the Pacific Islands.
Free copies of the “Homeowner’s Handbook to Prepare for Natural Disasters” will also be distributed at the clinic.
The clinic is sponsored by the Friends of the Hanapepe Public Library, the Hanapepe-Eleele community association, and Hawaii Hazards Awareness and Resilience Program.
