WAIPOULI — Bobby V’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria has opened at Coconut Marketplace.
“We are excited to be in our new location in the iconic Coconut Marketplace,” said Bobby V’s owner Bobby Valenti. “It’s four times larger than our previous location, which we outgrew. The open floor plan provides a more comfortable, cooler setting for our patrons, and our much larger kitchen provides the same for our staff.”
The Italian eatery serves pasta, pizza, sandwiches, calzones, salads and more for dine-in and take-out from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Beer and wine are the newest additions to the menu.
“We are so pleased to welcome Bobby V’s to the Coconut Marketplace,” said Daniel Metsch, leasing agent for Coconut Marketplace. “Locals and visitors like the authentic Italian food only found at Bobby V’s.”
Bobby V’s first opened in 2009 to fill the need on Kauai for an authentic neighborhood Italian restaurant and pizzeria where everything is homemade.
“At Bobby V’s, we want to share with our guests our rich Italian heritage of gathering around the table and sharing traditional home-cooked meals with family and friends,” Valenti said. “I’m Italian. This is what I was born to do.”
The family business even has specialty pizzas named after Bobby and Kristen Valenti’s children — Bella Gianna, the veggie pie, and The Jake, the meat pie.

Coconut Marketplace is a tropical, open-air retail center located on Kauaʻi’s beautiful Coconut Coast.
Coconut Marketplace also boasts a farmer’s market every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon, a free hula show every Wednesday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m., and a free live Hawaiian music with the renowned Larry Rivera every Friday at 5 p.m.
