LIHUE — Makali‘i Chong broke through the field of defenders for a 45-yard touchdown to break a 6-6 halftime deadlock and lead the Lihue Atlanta Falcons to a 14-6 win over the Hanapepe Colts this past Sunday at Vidinha Stadium.

Kody Erdmann, quarterback for the Hanapepe Colts Mitey Mites, kept the ball for rushes of four and 18 yards to fuel the team’s 16-0 win over the Kapaa Eagles. Nohili Ragragola booted two point-afters for the final math.
A quarterback keep for 48 yards in the final quarter pushed the Kapaa Eagles Junior Peewee to a 6-6 deadlock with the Hanapepe Colts. Colts quarterback Kyka Linoz hit Ryson Waalani for a three-yard score, breaking a 0-0 half-time stalemate to get Hanapepe on the scoreboards in the third quarter.
Sean Mulliken, Hanapepe Colts Junior Varsity quarterback, passed for three touchdowns to lead the Westside team to its 48-13 victory over the Kapaa Eagles in the finale.
Mulliken connected with Elijah Henderson for 61 yards, Makoa Vannaman for 34 yards, and hit Kanaan Ephan for 60 yards in the second half, breaking a 34-7 halftime lead.
Kapaa signal caller Raimana Huddy kept the ball for a three-yard score in the first half and hit Ryan Neumann for three yards and the Eagles’ score in the third quarter.
