LIHUE — A free seminar on the biomechanics of proper baseball pitching will be offered for youth ages 10 to 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall.
Gene Frechette with the Dusty Baker International Baseball Academy in California will share scientific findings relating to the biomechanics of pitching, from balance over the rubber, plant and propel, to follow through and finish off.
Frechette has been associated with professional baseball for nearly 60 years.
Parents and coaches are welcome.
