KAPAA — A new movie about whales, dolphins and monk seals will premiere tonight at Dolphin Touch Wellness Center from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The thirty minute movie, made by Terry Lilley from Hanalei, is a combination of footage taken over the past 10 years on Kauai and was made with the goal of determining ways to manage and protect marine animals.
In an event centered around welcoming the whales back to the Hawaiian Islands, Lilley will also show some of his other underwater reef movies, which have been featured on National Geographic.
Discussion about the upcoming federal proposal to ban swimming with dolphins is also scheduled.
