HANAMAULU – Kauai police responded to a call in Hanamaulu early Saturday morning at approximately 3:47 a.m.
When the officers arrived at the scene, they found two dead bodies in an apartment at Kalepa Village. One of the victims was a 40-year-old woman and the other was a man, age 67.
Their identities will not be released until the next of kin have been notified and the autopsies have been completed.
According to a preliminary report, the incident is being classified as an apparent murder-suicide.
