Congratulations to Tessa Ramsey on her Sea Scout Quartermaster project! The loaner life jacket station is a work of art, and hopefully, will be enough to supply life jackets to those boaters who don’t have enough for all their passengers.

Jim Jung should have been there Saturday morning — he would have been so proud.
Kaleo Carvalho (he was busy setting up for the Life Champion Senior Bowl’s banquet) was getting ready to leave to participate in the Honolulu Marathon, and Tessa had to leave early to get to the Kauai Interscholastic Federation first qualifying swim meet in Waimea.
Congratulations to Micah Hee (Arthur Brun knows everybody) who won the Island Air grand prize during half time, and it’s good to see our Kauai Interscholastic Federation football athletes can keep up with the other athletes. It was also good to see Trey Shimabukuro, again. Trey coaches at Western Oregon and was one of the coaches helping the seniors. He said his dad was busy working the food booth, his mom was helping at the concession booth, and his grandparents were somewhere in the crowd.
OK, time to get ready for another full week of KIF sports.
