• Actions not very neighborly
Judge Kobayashi of the federal district court of Hawaii ruled that Hawaii Dairy Farms and the landowner, Grove Farm, began construction activities at the site of their proposed dairy in Mahaulepu without obtaining the necessary permits. However, their spokesperson insists that “It was not a determination of fault in any way.”
Why would anyone believe anything Grove Farm claims? They have changed their tune so many times that they have no credibility. Remember what happened a few years back with Koloa Camp. Grove Farm evicted the long-term residents from their homes while claiming that they were going to bring in pre-fabricated houses built in China. Instead, those homes which were vacated just sit empty and rodent-infested as they deteriorate.
Today, people in the Poipu area, who plan on putting their property on the market, must disclose the possibility of odors, fly infestation, and polluted waters from the proposed dairy. What a neighbor!
