LIHUE — Kauai High School’s Taegan Keep scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Red Raiders to a 53-31 win over Kapaa High School on Monday night before a near full-house audience at the Kauai High School gym.
The victory gives Kauai High School girls basketball team the Kauai Interscholastic Federation title and the right to advance to the Snapple Hawaii High School Girls Division I and II state basketball tournament which will be contested Feb. 1-4 on Oahu.
Kauai High School took the first round and was forced into the playoff for the KIF title by Kapaa High School who took the second round play.
