Yuriye Morinaka
Yuriye Morinaka of Hanamaulu passed away on Jan. 31 at the age of 93 at her residence.
Born on Aug. 13, 1923 in Hule‘ia, she was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her husband Saburo Morinaka.
She is survived by sons Stanley (Colleen) Morinaka and Stanford (Cynthia) Morinaka, both of Kauai, daughters Delvina Marie (Jim) Reed of Washington and Lily Morinaka of Kauai, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 9:30 a.m. at Lihue Christian Church. Services begin at 10:30 a.m., and burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
