WASHINGTON — Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard released the names of her nominations to the U.S. Military Service Academies for classes this summer session.
Twenty-two students from across Hawaii’s Second Congressional District, including three students from Kauai, have gone through the application process and their applications are being considered for final selection by the United States Military Academy at West Point, the United States Naval Academy and the United States Air Force Academy.
Kauai nominations are:
Kapaa High School: Kainalu Gandia, Military Academy
Waimea High School: Devon Hartsell, Military Academy; Maia Alexis Young, Air Force Academy
