The Garden Island is publishing profiles on the seven candidates for the Kauai Island Utility Cooperative board of directors. Juno-Ann Apalla was featured Sunday, Norma Doctor Sparks was profiled Monday, Hermina Morita was featured Tuesday, and Jim Mayfield is profiled today.
The remaining candidates are:

A director is one of nine elected representatives of the members of KIUC. The Board of Directors sets strategic direction and policies of the cooperative.
Election packets were recently mailed out. Members can vote by paper ballot, phone or online. Election information can be found at www.kiuc.coop.
