Frank Bonilla
Frank Bonilla of Lawai, Hawai’i passed away on April 1, 2017, in Waimea at the age of 85. Born on Sept.7, 1931, in Kukui’ula, he was a carpenter and welder and a U.S. Veteran with the Air National Guard.
He is preceded in death by parents, Carmello and Nuncio Bonilla; brothers, Benito, John, and Phillip; sisters, Bella, Mary, Helen, Juanita, Margaret, and Adeline.
Frank is survived by his wife, Beatrice Joan Ruiz of Lawai; sons, Jim (Loretta) Bonilla of Boise, Idaho, Ricky Bonilla of Miami, Florida, Ken (Terri) Bonilla of Lawai, Kaua’i, and Norman (Lena) Bonilla of Hanapepe, Kaua’i; daughters, Dina Bonilla of San Antonio, Texas and Penny (Stephen) Lopez of Redwood City, California; grandchildren, Kimo Bonilla, Brandy Schuler, Paul Lopez, Raylyn Santos, and Zachary Bonilla; great-grandchildren, Phillip Bonilla, and Haleigha Schuler; brother, Carmello Bonilla of New Mexico; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 7, 2017, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. with services to begin at 11 a.m. Internment will take place at Kaua’i Memorial Gardens.
Casual attire is suggested and flowers are welcomed.

Kathrine Francia, 26 years old of Koloa, Kauai passed away on March 24, 2017, at Straub Medical Center in Honolulu. She was born on Sept. 23, 1990, in the Philippines.
She was preceded in death by her father Miguel Guerrero.
She is survived by her husband, Wade Francia; mother, Melca Guerrero; brother, Aldrine (Heather) Guerrero; aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 7, 2017, at St. Raphael’s Church from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Raphael’s Church Cemetery in Koloa.
