Lyle Tabata had just come home from the Boy Scout wilderness camp, and Vianne Tabata celebrated her birthday Saturday during the Visitor Industry Charity Walk (she had to cut the walk short because she had to work). That was enough to celebrate with the Mother’s Day brunch at the Koloa Landing (kudos to Ike Cockett, Eddie Iloreta, Chef Rafael Camarillo (he even got Ruby a room at the resort), and Chef Sam Choy (he even got to visit Ed Kawamura Sr. at the Kawamura Farm Expo after calling Kenny Ishii).
Chef Sam got to introduce the new Chef Shaun Hinson to County Council Chair Mel Rapozo, who was also enjoying the ono grinds and great entertainment. Clyde Vito got a big table for his ‘ohana, and Ruby Camarillo was glad for Chef Raf getting a room so she could crash after all the grinds.
Justice Camarillo gets to graduate Friday, and Angelica Camarillo came home from the U.S. Army for all the festivities.
OK, congratulations to all the public high school graduates!
