Menor-McNamara, Sanders join HTA board
HONOLULU – The Hawaii Tourism Authority recently welcomed Sherry Menor-McNamara, president and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii, and Kelly Sanders, area managing director of Marriott Hotels and Resorts Waikiki, to its board of directors.
Their terms run through June 2020.
George D. Szigeti, HTA president and CEO, said, “Sherry and Kelly have extensive insight about business, travel and hospitality in the Hawaiian Islands that will be of tremendous help in our fulfillment of HTA’s mission to continually strengthen tourism for the State of Hawaii.”
Menor-McNamara has led the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii since 2013 and been an advocate for Hawaii’s business community since joining the organization in 2006.
Sanders, a hotel industry veteran for three decades, has held senior leadership positions for the Starwood and Marriott brands in Hawaii since 2006.
