Helen Lacono (nothing goes to waste) makes it look real easy — like serving a liquid salad! Helen was demonstrating a Pineapple (you can use the non-soup parts to make a pineapple tea!) Avocado Gazpacho which is a cold soup (yes, they have those, too) during the Chef’s Demo at the Kauai Culinary Market (the King Kong heliconia sold out!). And, of course, if you want soup — she’s the Soup Lady at the Wednesday market at The Shops at Kukuiula.
Ada Koene had just finished work and was looking for Melissa McFerrin-Warrack (boy, she disappears real fast), and Elvrine Chow said she reached a point where she has as many orders for lei as she can make (don’t forget, graduation for public high schools is Friday!). But, graduation parties are wide open!
Elvrine even went to visit Tiffany Lum (no room for the silk screening gear) in Koloa Crazy Shirts, and Clayton Strang (mai tai makes you a “drunken monkey” real fast) is training a new silk screener for The Shops at Kukuiula.
Brolie (yes, he has his own social media page!) thinks he’s a young pup with a new young girlfriend, said Bruna Stude (her Mother’s Day lady artists talk story had a lot of people), and Patrice Pendarvis had her two “puppies” guarding her truck.
Happy graduation to the public high school grads!
