Isabel Takekawa, 95, passed away on Aug. 24, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband Masao Takekawa, and son Bob (Frances) Takekawa.
She is survived by daughters Anne (Howard) Fetzer, Sue (Patrick) Costales, son Roy (Mary Ann) Takekawa, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017, in Lawai at the Lawai Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with services to be held at 11 a.m.
No flowers. Casual attire.
Jaime B. Basquez
Jaime B. Basquez of Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii, passed away on May 22, 2017, at the age of 89.
Born on Feb. 25, 1928, in Makaweli, Kauai, he was a retired crash fire captain at Lihue Airport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufino and Maura Vasquez; wife; Apolonia Basquez; and brothers, Jesus and Querino Vasquez.
He is survived by wife, Georgette Basquez; brother, David (Lita) Vasquez; daughters, Marlene (Stuart) McAtee, Jessie Basquez; sons, Gerald “Shane” (Lorna) Basquez Zane (Sunday-Lee) Basquez; brother, David (Leticia “Letty”) Vasquez; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Kauai Veteran’s Cemetery, Hanapepe. Service at 9 a.m. Gathering to follow at cemetery pavilion.
