Tommy Rita couldn’t stay away from Vidinha Stadium, or the Kauai Community College fine dining facility because it was an opportunity to catch up with University of Hawaii head football coach Nick Rolovich (even Caleb Saiki and CJ Jenkens got a chance to be photographed with the coach).
Freddie Levinthol said he could have used another octopus since it was so hot, and kudos to Lenny Rapozo and his Department of Parks and Recreation ‘ohana for putting together an informative and fun clinic (one of the UH coaches helping said this was the biggest such clinic they’ve had).
Ryleah Torres said she’s playing football until high school, and then switching to softball. She’s still in the eighth grade, and Kalawaia Martins said he learned some things, and is excited about playing football, again.
Billy DeCosta (he’ll be at the Lihue Red Raider program) is excited about the upcoming Pop Warner football, and his son Bronze was glad to be part of Warrior Ball where the goal was to walk out of the stadium better than when coming in.
Kudos to Mark Oyama and Na Koa football for extending Rolo’s stay to include Meet The Coach at the Kauai Community College fine dining facility.
