NAWILIWILI — Designer Kristyl Apeles of Puka Surf will have a new mobile shop unveiling later this summer. Maggie Green of Definitely Baba is advancing her fashion aspirations to beyond the terno, the traditional Filipino formal wear, and designer Chanterelle Chantara of Chez Chanterelle worked with her models and photographers to take advantage of the grounds of the Kauai Marriott Resort and Beach Club.
Designer Nita Pilago of Wahine Toa sold out of her offerings, and International designer Sha Ali Ahmad of Ahmadcoutoure had time to smile as he watched the development of Kauai as a fashion destination.
Kauai Fashion Weekend culiminated the period of time Ahmad spent here, coordinating with Marynel Valenzuela of Inkspot Printing to allow Kauai people interested in the fashion industry to capitalize on the international resources to further their goals.
