Theodore ‘Ted’ Tetsuo Inouye
Theodore “Ted” Tetsuo Inouye of Lihue passed away on May 20, at the age of 91. He was born in Honolulu, Oahu on February 20, 1926.
Ted retired from the State of Hawaii, Department of Health as a Sanitation Supervisor.
He is survived by his wife Alice; son’s Derek (Carolyn) Inouye of Lihue and Ross Inouye of Puhi; brother Mike Inouye of Honolulu; sister Beatrice (Ben) Yoshinaga of California. 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on June 17, 2017, at the Lihue Hongwanji Mission at 3 p.m. Visitation 4 p.m. Services. Casual attire.
Family request no monetary gifts and flowers. Private burial will be at a later date.

John William Gillespie III
John William Gillespie III of Kilauea passed away at home on June 13, at the age of 67. He was born in Akron, Ohio on June 27, 1949, and retired from King Auto Center as a Sales Manager.
John is preceded in death by his parents John II and Hazel Gillespie, and older sister Gale Gillespie Zeno.
He is survived by his wife, Elena Javinar; sisters, Suzanne Gillespie Keeth of Las Vegas, Nevada and Sally Gillespie of Akron, Ohio.
A Celebration of Life, will be held at a later date.

Elsie Yoshiko Hiraoka
Elsie Yoshiko Hiraoka passed away at Hale Kapuna on April 20, 2017, at the age of 85. Born on October 13, 1931, at Kapaa, Hawaii, she was a Medical Records Supervisor for Wilcox Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents Seichi & Kichiyo Hashimoto.
She is survived by her husband, Kazunori Hiraoka of Kalaheo; son, Kevin Hiraoka of Nampa, Idaho; daughters, Holly Hiraoka of Kalaheo and Karen Abbriano of San Diego, California; 5 granddaughters, 2 great-grandsons, sister, Helen Wilbourn of Maui and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services will be held on Tuesday, June 20, at 11 a.m. at the Kapaa United Church of Christ.
