Table 53 proceeds to support Mobile Munchies in July
POIPU — RumFire Poipu Beach announced that the Mobile Munchies Outreach Program has been selected as its Table 53 beneficiary in July.
Table 53 at Sheraton Kauai Resort’s oceanfront restaurant donates net food and beverage proceeds from the designated table to a different local nonprofit each month. Table 53 has raised more than $185,000 toward charitable causes since its inception in 2012.
The Mobile Munchies program, administered by Lihue Lutheran Church, provides healthy meals to economically challenged kupuna and keiki on the island of Kauai. The program has provided over 20,000 meals across the island. Support generated through Table 53 will be used for the food and supplies that make up a Mobile Munchie lunch bag.
Patrons interested in participating in the Table 53 program are encouraged to make reservations in advance by calling 742-4786.
