Chuck and Cheryl Brady took advantage of the event to give Chuck’s sister Mary a visit to the South Shore, and Marcia Ishii Minnichhofer found out she had enough time to take in the Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital 100th anniversary celebration. Marcia already hung several of her floral prints in the hospital’s new social hall, and thought she couldn’t attend the celebration because of the craft fair.
Amy Christmas said she couldn’t believe the view from her table and even took a photo to send it off to friends — wouldn’t you like an office like this? Lauren Guest was pleasantly surprised with the reception to her indigo (Laurie Ho said Kauai Community College Chancellor Helen Cox knows a lot about dyes) products, and the scenic background was a perfect setting for Kerry Oda’s photographs.
Ken Johnson came down from the Debbie Yanagihara craft fair (her next one is Saturday at Church of the Pacific in Princeville from 8 a.m.) to visit with Jessica Clabo (she even had a Free Movie Night flier for the National Tropical Botanical Garden).
