Sunday was a day of goodies as Barbara Oki celebrated the Oki’s grand opening (she said it was because they worked out all the bugs) at the Kukui Grove Center food court…the rice cakes were spot-on for the long drive to Princeville, and coach Fran Constantino (you gotta watch Katelyn eat — everything is delicious!) had her brood in tow for lunch. Coach Leo and principal Mahina Anguay found some sushi after the long Waimea Alumni and Friends Foundation golf tournament and luau.
Congratulations to Tess Shimabukuro and the Kauai Community Federal Credit Union ohana on the latest presentation of Get Real, a financial literacy virtual fair. Tess said for those who aren’t privy to the fair, Taylor Shigemoto offers financial literacy classes at KCFCU.
OK, one more day before the Kauai County Farm Bureau Fair opens Thursday. Time to go check it out.
