Filemon Idica Yago
Filemon Idica Yago of Puhi passed away in Queens Hospital on Aug. 21, 2017, at the age of 82. He was born in Santa Cruz, Sinait, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on March 8, 1935, and retired from McBryde Sugar Company as an irrigator.
Preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Serquia Yago; brother, Estanislao Yago; sister-in-law, Juliana Yago; brother-in-law, Dominador Saludes; great-grandchildren, Amayah Nevae Agpaoa and Max Anthony Agpaoa.
Filemon is survived by his wife, Esperanza Tumaneng Yago; son, Edwin (Debra) Yago; daughter, Imelda (Fredelito) Agpaoa, Jackie (Scott) Remigio; 2 grandchildren, Ian (Nisa) Agpaoa, Sienna Agpaoa; 1 great-grandson, Cohen Scot Agpaoa; brothers, Rodolfo “Rudy” Yago, Adolf (Kathy) Yago, Alden Yago; sisters, Matilde Saludes, Eugenia (Santos) Pagat, Sonia (Virgilio) Uy; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing from 8 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihue Cemetery.

Ludi A. Ouderkirk, 75 years old passed away on Sept. 16, 2017, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 29, 1942, in Carite City, Naic, Philippines, she was a retired sales manager at Zales Jewelers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Ouderkirk, Sr.; mother, Juanita Adorna; brother, Rolando Caina.
She is survived by her son, Donald (Jamie) Ouderkirk, Jr. of Hilo; daughters, Donna S. Ouderkirk of California, Tiger (Phillip) Ouderkirk Bachler of California, Dyan Nicole Ouderkirk of Kalaheo; grandchildren, Brandon, Christopher, Andrew Ouderkirk, Kayla Bailey, Robert Bachler, Ashely Reynolds, Christopher Bachler, Bella Bachler and Like Bachler; great grandchildren, Lexi Aragon, Leila Ouderkirk, Alannah Ei Fert- Ouderkirk, Rush Cabatbat and Blake Reynolds; brother, Rolando (Vinnie) Caina of Philippines; sister, Lita Adorna of Canada; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Koloa from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Where Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe. Casual attire please.

Thomas Warden
Thomas Warden, 69, passed away at his home in Waimea, Kauai on Sept. 10, 2017. He was born on Feb. 7, 1948, in Lehi, Utah and was the youngest of nine children.
In 1965 he joined the U.S. Navy and spent 2 tours (4 years) in Vietnam. Upon his return from Vietnam he worked at his rate of Operations Specialist at the Kunia Tunnel, Oahu at CTF 130 in support of NASA’s manned spacecraft recovery in the Pacific. During his Naval career he served on a variety of ships which ended with shore duty at Barber’s Pt. Naval Air Station. He was honorably discharged in 1985 and in 1986-1998 became the air field Manager at Barbers Pt. as a civilian. Due to base closure in 1998 he transferred to the range safety office at pacific Missile Range Facility where he was still employed. He was an active participating layperson at St. Andrews and St. Timothy’s Episcopal churches on Oahu.
He was preceded in death by father, Francis Martin; mother, Nellie Elizabeth Patrick; brothers, Dan, George and Jack; sisters, Peggy and Virginia.
He is survived by his wife, Carol of 42 years; stepchildren, John D. (Robyn) of Moanalua, Oahu, Gary M. (Terry) of Wailua, Kauai, Christopher P (Kapena) (Hope) of Jamestown, Ca.; daughter, Ceslee K. Gaddis (Dave) of Makakilo, Oahu; brother-in-law, Robert J. Moore, Jr. (Paulette) of Pacific Palisades, Oahu; brothers, Robert and James; sister, Donna Adams of Utah; his beloved dogs, Skipee and Angel; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.

Reynold “Rey” Crispin Aranio
Reynold “Rey” Crispin Aranio of Puhi passed away on Sept. 13, 2017, at the age of 82. He was born in Koloa, Hawaii on April 7, 1935, and retired from Hawaiian Telephone as an Auto Mechanic.
Preceded in death by his son, Delray Aranio; parents, Crispin and Rose Aranio and brother, Angel Aranio.
Reynold is survived by his wife, Lorena Aranio of Puhi; son, Bradley Aranio of Puhi; sister, Frances (Arnold) Beck of California; brother, Benjamin (Mary) Aranio Sr. of Omao; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Church with visitation from 8 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Lihue Cemetery.

Dolores “Bebang” Agrade Peralta, 86 years old of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on Aug. 18, 2017, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was born in Waimea, Kauai.
She is survived by her sons, Joe (Norma) Peralta, Oscar Sagucio, Peter (Kelly) Peralta, Nelson Peralta; daughters, Delphine Shea, Adelina (Greg) Enriquez, Aurora (Edwin) Raposas; brothers, Januario Agrade, Andres Corpuz, Rudy Corpuz; sisters, Elena Mumuad, Tina Abuan, Odette Irebaria, Lita Cook; 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews,
