Corazon Bantolinao
Corazon Bantolinao of Hanamaulu died at home on Dec. 14, at the age of 90. She was born in Hawaii on July 10, 1927, and was a dedicated homemaker.
Preceded in death by her husband, Rufino Bantonlinao; daughter, Mele Bantolinao; parents, Francisco and Erenia Malbas.
Corazon is survived by her son, Leroy Bantolinao; 7 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 8 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Rockie Tagara, C. P. Fernandez, Helena Bustillos; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held.

George Muramaru
George Muramaru, 95, of Honolulu, passed away on Dec. 15, 2017. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired administrator for the State of Hawaii, Department of Regulatory Agency. He was a member of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, 522nd Battery B, Field Artillery Battalion.
He is survived by his sons, Dunn (Lynn)Muramaru of Honolulu, Gordon (Noreen) Muramaru of Kapaa; grandsons, Cal and Jayson; brother, Sadao (Sue) Muramaru of Paauilo, HI and sister, Asayo (Nobuo) Hirayama of California.
Visitation from 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service 6 p.m. No flowers.

Mercy Hoonani-kamakuamauloa Shintani
Mercy Hoonanikamakuamauloa Shintani, 75 years old of Kekaka, Kauai passed away on Dec. 16, 2016, at her home in Kekaha, Kauai. She was born on Sept. 10, 1942, in Niihau.
She was preceded in death by David Shintani and James Kahale.
She is survived by her sons, Raymond (Laurie) Pahulehua of Niihau, Nelson (Zanetta Snow) Shintani of Hilo, Steven (Sherlin) Shintani of Niihau, Jeffery (Grace Marie) Shintani of Kauai, David Shintani of Kekaha; daughters, Gloria (Clifton) Kelley of Kekaha, Glory Kahale of Kekaha; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Dale (Angie) Pahulehua of Kekaha; Hanai sisters, Mikala Woodruff of Kekaha, Kaleimomi Schinita of Kekaha; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai from 3 to 5 p.m. noon Burial to follow at Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery.

Clyde Tsuneo Murakami
Clyde Tsuneo Murakami, 69 years old, passed away on Dec. 22, 2017, at his home. Born on June 6, 1948, in Paia, Hawaii, he was a retired as a Electronic Technician and also in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tsutomu and Mitsuye Murakami; sister, Gail Murakami.
He is survived by his wife; Audrey Murakami; brothers, Eric Murakami of Kaneohe Adney Murakami of Kaneohe; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services were held.

John Sanchez
John Sanchez, 89, of Wailua Homesteads passed away peacefully at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Dec. 23, 2017. He was born on July 23, 1928, in Wailua, Kauai where he resided for his entire life. He retired from the State Department of Land & Natural Resources Forestry Division and was previously employed at Hawaiian Fruit Packers Cannery. He was a cattle rancher and his interest in agriculture sparked his involvement in the community. He served on the Kauai County USDA Farm Service Agency as a volunteer for numerous years after his retirement. He assisted farmers and ranchers with his wisdom and was an avid sports fan. He also found pleasure in raising his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Garcia Sanchez; his grandson, Dustin Perreira; his father, Manuel Sanchez, Sr.; his mother, Bertha Gomes Sanchez; his brothers, Manuel Sanchez, Jr. and Antone Sanchez.
He is survived by two daughters, Sharleen (Clayton) Perreira of Kaneohe, Oahu, Cynthia (Bobby) Ayonon of Wailua Homesteads, Kauai; two grandchildren, Colby (Maja) Ayonon and Ashley Perreira; two great-grandchildren, Chloe Ayonon and Cruz Ayonon; two brothers, Alexander(Becky) Sanchez from Torrance, California and William Sanchez from Wailua Homesteads, Kauai; two sisters, Rosa Fernandez of Honolulu, Oahu and Barbara (Wallace) Isoda of Wailua Homesteads and sister-in-law, Mildred Garcia Ah Hee.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at St. Catherine’s Church from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., Eulogy at 9:30 a.m. and Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.

Lisette Adrienne Langlois of Waimea passed away at home on Dec. 21, at the age of 72. She was born in Canada on June 24, 1945, and was a self-employed Licensed Massage Therapist.
Lisette is survived by her husband, Wolfgang Langlois; daughter, Verite; sons, Saiid and Keshav and 4 grandchildren.
