The Sunday weekend drama, “Breezy Love,” ended last week. There was some confusion during the season at episode 12 with casting. The popular drama series also known as “Blow Breeze” had to change out the second female lead character, Shinae.
Actress Ji-eun Oh played the role of Shinae Park, a North Korean defector who was taken in by Mipoong and her family after her mother died of starvation. Actress Oh had an accident while filming “Breezy Love,” hurting her ankle.
While she attempted to keep filming while getting treatment, the injury got worse and she had to get surgery. Ji-eun Oh was replaced after episode 12 by another actress, Soo-hyang Im, who finished the series.
What was surprising is that during the last episode there was some political innuendo, when Jango’s grandmother talks about reunification of torn families between North and South Korea.
A period drama, “Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People,” will start tonight.
