Kalaheo fire station work on
KALAHEO — Construction has begun for the Kalaheo fire station driveway restoration project.
The project’s scope of work includes restoring the existing driveway and repairing the existing moss rock wall.
The Kauai Fire Department’s fire trucks will be temporarily stationed at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center while pavement work and curing to the station’s driveway takes place.
The work is expected to be completed by Jan. 9.
A federal grant funds the $91,410 project.
Peterson Bros. Construction Inc. is the general contractor.
