Jan Bateman of Oregon spent her last day on Kauai at the Kauai Coffee open house, noting that this was the first time she could coordinate her stay with the open house. Nancy Kanna was checking out the Kauai Coffee presentation to the Kauai Independent Food Bank whose Kelvin Moniz was between the Kauai Coffee event and the Keiki Christmas Bash at The Shops at Kukuiula.
Kudos to Helaine Perel (her husband was at the Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital Christmas party at Koloa Landing) on doing such an amazing job with all those keiki (Santa Phil said he visited with so many kids, he lost his voice).
The musicians were out for the traditional Art Walk, but instead of art aficionados and artists, the shopping center was filled with keiki and their parents (thank heaven we had Bobby Thompson on hand to watch his kids perform with the Kapaa Middle School Choir and Ukulele Band).
Mary Lardizabal said she’s got a break until Wednesday when the choir and ukulele band hosts its big show at the Kapaa Middle School courtyard.
