Diana ‘Dini’ Mae Boreliz
Diana “Dini” Mae Boreliz, 69, of Hanamaulu, passed away on Nov. 28, 2017, at Wilcox Medical Center.
She was born on July 29, 1948, in Moloaa.
She worked for Reyn Spooner as a manager at Kauai Surf, Coconut Market Place, The Westin Hotel, Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa and The Shops at Kukuiula.
She was preceded in death by father Felix Boreliz.
She is survived by mother Helen Boreliz, sisters Beatrice Boreliz and Mercy Labrador, brother Joseph Scalzo, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were private.

Alice Mae Fix
Alice Mae Fix (nee Hildreth) died peacefully at home on Kauai on Nov. 29, 2017, at the age of 98.
She was a proud original member of Halau Kalamaolaimaluhialani.
She was preceded in death by husband Wayne W. Fix, daughter Sharon E. McHenry and son Timothy W. Fix.
She is survived by daughters Martha “Marti” S. (Mike) McHenry of Lihue, Joanne M. (Terry) Frewer of Vancouver, Canada and Liane J. (Bradley) Carter of Kapaa, nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be private.

Pernell Kawaipuna O Nalani Lindsey
Pernell Kawaipuna O Nalani Lindsey of Kapaa passed away on Dec. 7, 2017, at the age of 46.
He was born Sept. 12, 1971 in Lihue.
He was preceded in death by father Stanford K. Lindsey, brother Charles K. Lindsey, and grandparents William and Beatrice Victorino and Edwin and Victoria Lindsey
He is survived by mother Yvonne Borges, and numerous aunties and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Private services were held.
