No respect for bike path users
No respect for bike path users
I use the Kapaa part of Ala Hele Makalae bike path for quiet walks if possible. There is a home that has no respect for the users or the community with their overly aggressive barking dogs intimidating users that pass by Kapaa Beach Park. I don’t even want to go down that way anymore due to lack of respect they have for their neighbors and community. Maybe they think they also own the bike path. I’m an older lady who would not like to be severely barked at and intimidated every time we use the bike path.
It is just not me, it is anyone that passes by, even children?
Very disrespectful and lack of aloha. Does anyone else feel this way?

Kauai is full of real angels
It is almost a new year. Nothing of this year really catches my mind, nothing except it’s whizzed by. I am a year older and 20-plus ages older. There is one real important factor. I have met and befriended some of the most awesome diamonds in the rough. It is all of you who did it. Honestly, by the year 2013, I still hadn’t a clue who Edie actually was, nor was I not terrified to find out. Turned out, she’s pretty cool.
But the credit goes to all of you. I’m just doing the footwork. Complete strangers placed amongst my caustic life won over my trust. If you guys were seeing something, it must be real. After all, there’s nothing to gain, except your own self-worth for doing a good deed.
It was me who was blessed to rise to the occasion. It’s my honor. This I promise. I will never give that up. I don’t drop names, but D.K. you are amazing. Remember back when neither of us thought we had anything to build on?
I love you all and much aloha in this new year.

Aloha Leilani,
Is it legal to carry and use those pepper spray canisters? One might save you from a dog bite if the gets close enough to attack you, of course the owner would be liable, wouldn’they?
