Samira Siale was marching with her Enterprise float (mahalo for being a parade “proud sponsor!”), and Tyrus was doing duty at the Kauai Fire Department Ocean Safety Bureau unit with all those Junior Lifeguards during the Lights on Rice holiday parade (Congratulations to Eileen Winters and all those Rotary Club of Kauai people on another great parade!).

David Bissell was doing security duty before meeting up with his Kauai Island Utility Cooperative unit, and Corey Nakamura knew how to use the golf cart to enhance the lighting on the Elsie Wilcox Elementary School float.
Carol Manera Texeira had some of her Kauai Chamber of Commerce crew parked on the sidewalk, and Coach Max Manera had some of his Team Lihue players in nearly full outfits to watch and experience the Wyndham snow flurries (nope, that wasn’t rain … was snow!).
Mickey and Minnie Mouse brought along Goofy from the Waimea tree-lighting, and left Moana and Maui at home, opting to bring Tinker Bell to join the Kauai Veterans Council units, and what a chicken-skin moment when all those people kept saying “Thank you!” to Capt. Vinnie Johnson and his Pacific Missile Range Facility unit!
OK, time to get ready for the Kauai Gymnastics Academy exhibition coming up Sunday at Kukui Grove Center starting at lunchtime (big surprise in store! … ask Mark Bonilla).
Hands down the best float was Santa taking a shower, what a creative FLOAT !!!
