Robert Anthony Bukoski
Robert Anthony Bukoski, 65, of Koloa, passed way on Nov. 21, 2017, at Wilcox Medical Center.
Born on July 27, 1952, in Lihue, he was a mechanic.
He was preceded in death by parents Flora L. and Antone Bukoski Jr., brother Patrick M. Bukoski, son Ryan Kainoa Bukoski, and granddaughter Reyne Silva.
He is survived by wife Felicia Bukoski of Koloa, sons Robert A. “Lopaka” (Chelse Carineo) Bukoski of Lihue, Tauren Shiloh (Leanne) Bukoski of Koloa, daughters Taryn (Sean) Silva of Kekaha and Shawndelle A. (Derek) Kurashige of Koloa, hanai daughter Christina Jansons-Dizon of Lihue, eight grandchildren: Landon Bukoski, Legacy Anne Bukoski, Trevor Kawao Bukoski, Rylee Siva, Hina Lehiwa Jansons, Breyann Silva, Rhydr Silva and Brykxn Silva, brother James Navarro of Lihue, sister Teresa A.F. Morita of Koloa, and numerous, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Dec. 2, at Garden Island Mortuary chapel in Lawai from 9 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
The family suggests casual attire.

Raymond Caspillo
Raymond Caspillo, 78, of Honolulu, died in Honolulu on Nov. 11, 2017.
He was born in Kapaa.
He leaves behind wife Carol Hosino-Caspillo, children Daphne, Carrae’, Joslyne, Devin and Jon Paul, and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is Dec. 9 at 9:30 a.m., with services at 11 a.m., on December 9, at Our Lady of the Mount on Monte Street in Honolulu. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park on Oahu. Mililani Memorial Mortuary did the cremation. Valley of the Temples is helping with the burial.
Edward Abreu Jr.
Edward Abreu Jr., 80, of Lihue, passed away at his home in Lihue on Nov. 16, 2017.
Born on March 13, 1937, in Honolulu, he was a retired parts manager with a Caterpillar dealership.
He was preceded in death by parents Adele and Edward Abreu Sr.
He is survived by wife Nancy Abreu of Lihue, daughter Julie Jimenez, two grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friend may visit with the family on Saturday, Dec. 2, at Anahola Baptist Church from 10 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.
The family suggests aloha attire.

Brad Ka‘ali‘i Almeida
Brad Ka‘ali‘i Almeida passed away on Nov. 13, 2017, at home at the age of 37.
He was born on Nov. 17, 1979.
He is survived by parents Jocelyn Iida-Yamamoto and Dennis (Barbara) Almeida, sisters Yvette (Dan) Togikawa and Raquel Almeida, nieces Leiala Togikawa, Shylah-Ann Almeida-Kaohi and Tarah-Leigh Almeida, nephews Travis (Sarah) Visitacion, Kainalu Almeida-Kaohi, Keani Togikawa and Kaimana Kaohi, along with numerous aunties, uncles and many friends.
He was preceded in death by stepdad Clyde Yamamoto, grandparents Alice and Benedict Iida and Alfred and Eleanor Almeida, and uncle Ronald Iida.
Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, with visitation at 9 a.m. and service to follow, at Borthwick Mortuary in Koloa.
Arrangements were handled by Borthwick Mortuary. A private final resting place will be determined at a later date.
The family requests casual attire.
Catalina Lucina Motilla
Catalina Lucina Motilla, 97, of Lihue, passed away on Nov. 14, 2017, at Wilcox Medical Center.
She was born on Sept. 20, 1920, in the Philippines.
She was preceded in death by husband Fermin Motilla, daughter Mercedes Motilla, and parents Victor and Maria Lucina.
She is survived by daughters Pacita (Teodulo) Ganiron, Priscilla (Villamor) Fabro Sr. and Narcisa Gonzalez, son Victor (Yvonne) Motilla, 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Dec. 9, at Immaculate Conception Church from 8 to 9:45 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.

Chad George Schaefer
Chad George Schaefer, born Jan. 31, 1963, in Redwood City, California, passed away on Nov. 22, 2017, at the age of 54 in Lihue.
He was preceded in death by mother Jerre Schaefer (Nov. 21, 2006).
He is survived by father Walter (“Bud”) Schaefer, sisters Kimberley Schaefer and Allison Zamiska, nieces Crystal and Amber Schaefer, four grand-nieces, and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Mahaulepu on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 1 p.m.
Joseph Louis Alalem
Joseph Louis Alalem, 79, passed away on Nov. 16, 2017, at his home in Tacoma, Washington.
He was the Coco Palms Resort food and beverage manager for 16 years.
He is survived by wife Andrea Alalem, daughters Staci Alalem-Clark (Michael Clark), Jonna Alalem-Peterson (Terry Peterson), and grandsons Ryan Clark and Jack Clark.
A service followed by a celebration of life at St. Catherine Church in Kapaa will be held on Saturday, Dec. 30, with viewing at 10 a.m. and Mass at 11 a.m. The celebration of life will follow from noon to 3 p.m. in the church’s Coyle Hall.
