LIHUE — There is a lot of time after church, said Joseph Figaroa, president of Hawaii International Fashion Week.
Sunday, the HIFW will present Style.Kauai at the Koloa Landing Resort with doors opening at 1:30 p.m. — lots of time to attend church and take in the event.
Style.Kauai is a holiday gift and fashion show, including a special canine fashion showing, to showcase select artists, including Kauai fashion designers, and retail establishments featuring their seasonal collections. Featured will be jewelry, gifts, children’s fashions, men’s fashions, and women’s fashions.
Guests will be treated to an afternoon of shopping, food, and entertainment as Figaroa and his staff celebrate the creative industry on Kauai at this inaugural event.
Figaroa established Hawaii International Fashion Week in 2010 to support the development of artistic professionals throughout Hawaii and celebrate the accomplishments of the industry by producing premier events throughout the state.
Patrons taking in the event will have an opportunity to explore artistic resources available to indulge their creative senses, including access to contemporary artists, seasonal collections produced by artists, and creative professionals showcasing the latest industry Trends and Technologies.
Advance tickets are $25, or $30 at the door.
